About Project
PURPOSE (Overall objective)
To contribute to the innovative territorial development of the participating Nordic and North-West Russian regions through enhancement of economic cooperation and trade between the Nordic Countries and the North-West Russia.
There are 3 sub-themes will be implemented in the frames of the main theme (overall objective):
- Development of local entrepreneurship in rural areas of NW Russia and Nordic countries.
- Creation, adaptation and correction of the innovative strategies for the rural areas, including training of the local administration.
- Development of territorial self-government as a tool for better management and development of rural areas.
Study Visit to Iceland “Labor Environment, Occupational Safety and Health in Northern Europe” On November 9-14 Secretary General of the Leontief Centre Elena Belova took part in the Study Visit to Iceland “Labor Environment, Occupational Safety and Health in Northern Europe”.
14.11.2014RUNO Partners Meeting RUNO Partners Meeting is planned to be held in a format of a roundtable discussion "Strategies and tools to modernize the economy of rural areas", that which will be held in St. Petersburg in the framework of GREEN DAY XIII All-Russian Forum "Strategic planning in the regions and cities of Russia" (27-28 October 2014).
